1.
Quadrillion 04:15
A breakneck journey through outer space On a mission to save the human race So strap it on for hyperdrive If you wanna join the ones who will survive — Chorus — Like meat pushed through a shredder It’ll get worse before it gets better Blast first, answer questions later Leave this shithole world a smokin’ crater
2.
It’s time to saddle up Unhitch from the post Gonna hump this fuckin’ mule From coast to coast There’s a world to tame No one said it’d be easy Cuz when duty calls It ain’t always pretty — Chorus — It’s a bloody trail Where friends are foes Odds are when I catch my bullet No one’s gonna know Still if I gotta fall At least I’ll choose my path I won’t face it with sorrow I’ll face it with wrath — Chorus —
3.
You really like all the swag and bling The golden chains and your pinky ring You like the cars and the custom vans All the acclaim from your douchebag fans A backwards cap twisted to the side Vintage shades and a pimped out ride A golden tooth and tattooed sleeves You’re the only one who don’t believe — Chorus — You wear your wallet chain when you’re at the beach Everything shitty you want two of each Even your crew thinks your act is dull The very peak’s shaped like your fuckin’ skull — Chorus —
4.
John Tanner 04:02
A boy of ten On a bloody frontier Stolen away To a life of fear Claimed by one tribe Sold to another He embraced his fate Became his enemy’s brother Chorus River to river, forest to lake Carved of stuff from which Heroes are made A man of one blood Who lived in two skins Became a North American legend He learned to hunt And he learned to track When a chance came to leave He found his way back Husband and father Warrior and scribe He became the voice Of an unknown tribe — Chorus —
5.
Strung 03:23
I don’t know If I’ll see you again From outer space Yet you’re more than a friend Alien fiend Are you even a she Some things just aren’t Meant to be — Chorus — Come with me You can stay the night We’ll do our thing Even if we know it ain’t right Come the dawn You’ll return to your fleet I’ll be alone Scorched by alien heat — Chorus —
6.
The Mountain 04:14
Just another story Of things gone wrong Life, love, or loneliness It’s the same old song Decide if you want to live Or shrivel up and die There’s a certain cure You may want to try — Chorus — You aren’t the first To think you’ve had enough Whether you have or not, well Everyone’s had it rough Before you give it up And visit the hereafter Test yourself against the world You might find what you’re after — Chorus —
7.
Mexicus 03:33
History doesn’t say Just how he came to be In Rome of Italy From lands across a raging sea Still he carved his name In blood on foreign sands His foes so much chopped meat From blades in both his hands — Chorus — No remorse facing death As he serves dying breaths To dudes from far and near Who died in pain and fear Crowds screamed his name In Latin, Frank and Celt If he cared you wouldn’t know Because rage is all he felt — Chorus —

about

American Falcon is:

Chris La Tray - Bass, Lead Vocals
Jimmy Rolle - Guitar, Vocals
Steve Jacobs - Drums, Vocals

Note: All drums on this record were performed by Travis Yost. Travis is a founding member of American Falcon who left the band on the most amicable of terms in pursuit of other interesting interests. He will forever remain an honorary Blood Falcon.

All songs written, arranged, engineered, performed, produced, mixed, and mastered by American Falcon. Jimmy does most of the knob-twisting, technical shit, though.

Don’t try and think too hard, listener. These songs are basically short little pulp action stories. American Falcon chooses to attempt global salvation only when that salvation involves actual mortal, usually bare-handed, combat. Or knife-fighting.

“Quadrillion” is about a spaceship and its crew of ass-kickers. “Blood and Thunder” is based, sort of, on the excellent book by Hampton Sides. “Dickhead Mountain” was written as a 40th birthday present for Aaron fucking Draplin, www.draplin.com, who does a bit about Kid Rock being at the top of said peak in his ongoing, getting-his-face-on-magazines, free-for-all design nerd roadshows. “John Tanner” is based on the book The Falcon by John Tanner. “Strung” is a love song. “The Mountain” is based on the time Jimmy tried to ruin Christmas. And, finally, “Mexicus” is about a Mexican gladiator in ancient Rome.

Offspring: “Dad, why is there so much cussing on this one?”
Jimmy: “Because Chris is pissed!”
